CONSORTIUM OF MEDICAL, ENGINEERING & DENTAL COLLEGES OF KARNATAKA (COMEDK) ENTRANCE EXAM
- This exam is conducted by the association of Karnataka private medical & dental college and Karnataka unaided private engineering colleges for determining the potential candidates for pursuing degree in medical, engineering and dental courses in Karnataka.
- This exam is compulsory in Karnataka when a kannidagans wishes to select medical/engineering/dental profession.
- The candidates must have completed 2nd PUC with PCB/PCM as their streams in PUC.
- The requirements for medical and dental courses will be as per MCI (medical council of India) & DCI (dental council of India) norms.
- For engineering it will be as per norms of AICTE (All India council of Technical Education).
- The applications can be downloaded from www.comedk.org
- The application fee is Rs.700/- for 3 subjects namely Physics, chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCB/PCM) & Rs.900/- for 4 subjects namely Physics, chemistry, Mathematics & Biology.
- The fees can be paid by sending a demand draft in favour of “COMEDK”, payable at Bangalore.
- Kindly take print in A4 paper & don’t fold the application.
- The applications will be available from the month of March & the last date will be in the month of April.
- The exam will take in Month of May across various cities in Karnataka.
- From this exam nearly 25% of seats in engineering, 40% of seats in Medical & 45% of seats in dental colleges are filled only by this exam.

COMEDK ENGLISH SYLLABUS/MODEL QUESTION PAPERS
