NATIONALDEFENCEACADEMY (NDA) & NAVAL ACADEMY (NA) ENTRANCE EXAM

• This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to determine the potential candidates to serve for Army, Navy & Air force.
• The applicants must be unmarried in case of male candidates.
• The applicants must have completed their 12^th & candidates who are taking their 12^th final examination can also appear for this exam.
• The candidates must be physical fit as per the norms.
• The applications are available by paying Rs.50/- (general category) cash in head post offices across the country from the month of April.
• There is no application fee for SC/ST candidates.
• The applications are availed through online in website www.upsconline.nic.in.
• The application fee is Rs.25/- for online in case of general category & no fee for SC/ST candidates.
• The last date for receipt of application is month of May & exam will be conducted in the month of August across India.
• The candidates can select either English or Hindi as their medium of Instruction.
• The negative marking is applicable. For each wrong answer 1/3^rd i.e.0033 mark from the total mark will be deducted.
• The duration of exam is 150 Minutes for exam subject & examinations pattern is as follows

Mathematics ,

General ability test.

• Then the personality test will be conducted to check the following

Verbal & non-verbal intelligence,

Group discussion,

Group Planning,

Group Task,

Give brief lecture on concern subjects.

• These tests are done in order to determine the basic intelligence level & mental calibre of the candidates.
